Whole bean & ground available. Africa is where coffee originated and this blend heralds the continent's heritage by showcasing the clean, crisp profiles we find in Ethiopia. This is a robust blend: full-bodied with a caramel sweetness and hints of citrus and cocoa and a long lasting finish.
All African, is our first blend. It's our baby. The first time we sampled it, a surprised smile went across our faces and we had a “wow I thought I knew good coffee but I guess I didn’t…that’s reallyyyyyyy great coffee” moment and we knew we were on the right path. We hope you get that same same surprisingly smooth, so clean “you can actually taste the tasting notes the coffee snobs talk about” experience we did again and again. Enjoy :)

I'll start with I can't really speak to the quality of the coffee. I'm not a coffee dei ker but my uncle is a huge one so this was his Xmas gift. He's been pleased so far and I'll probably get him more.
My issue here was with customer service. I placed my order on Dec. 8 with the understanding that because of how the beans are selected and processed, it might take a week or so for things to get moving, per the website. The order didn't arrive until Decemver 28, three days after Xmas. That wouldn't have been too big a deal if not for the fact I emailed BLQK *twice* (there was no customer service number to call) to ask for an update and got no response either time.
I get it: small businesses during the holiday rush. But I support many other small brands who make a point of communicating with customers and use that as a selling point; it builds loyalty and community. The lack of communication here was a disappointment, but I won't not support in the future, just hope it gets better.
