How to
brew your
perfect cup

Coffee brewing is a science, but it’s an art, too. We encourage artistic exploration with coffee to water ratio, grind, and brew method so you can discover your very best coffee ritual.

The ratio: We recommend using about 8 grams of ground coffee (about one tablespoon) for every 150 grams/ml of water. Consider investing in a scale for measuring your coffee and water. Use more coffee for a stronger brew, and less coffee for something more gentle.

For hot coffee, always use fresh, cold, filtered water and to heat it to 195-205 degrees Fahrenheit. For cold brew, use cold or room temperature fresh, filtered water.

Most brew methods work best with medium-fine ground coffee, but techniques like aeropress require a finer grind, while others, like French press require a coarse grind.

Brewed with higher standards.

Thoughtfully Sourced

We source our 100% Arabica beans from expert producers in the best coffee-growing regions around the world. Only 1% of the world's coffee meets our quality standards.

Artisinally Roasted

Artisans here in Los Angeles roast our beautiful beans by hand, so that each batch comes out just right. As they roast, we let our beans reach balanced, not-too-light and not-too-dark flavors, so you can get the most out of each cup.

Delivered Fresh

Coffee this good should be enjoyed fresh. That’s why we make sure that you get your coffee shipment as fast as possible once the beans have been roasted and bagged.
